As a Household/Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining a comfortable, refined living environment tailored to the needs of a young, dynamic family. You will oversee household operations, manage staff training, and assist in day-to-day tasks, ensuring the household functions seamlessly and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Service and Family Care
Providing personal service to family members and guests.
Managing luggage and personal belongings.
Organizing transfers, meetings, and accompanying the family on trips.
Overseeing healthy nutrition, including menu planning, sourcing farm-fresh products, and collaborating with the chef.
Recommending new services, wellness solutions, gadgets, and lifestyle enhancements.
Coordinating leisure activities, including restaurants, hotels, cruises, and private flights.
Staff Management
Supervising housekeepers, gardeners, technicians, and support staff.
Assigning tasks and monitoring completion.
Organizing staff routines and liaising with the estate manager.
Inspecting the property daily and ensuring it is ready for the family’s arrival.
Maintaining service standards and quality control across all staff activities.
Property Oversight
Monitoring engineering systems according to checklists (electricity, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, water supply).
Managing inventory of consumables (linen, towels, cleaning supplies, filters).
Preparing reports on the technical condition of the properties for the estate manager.
Reporting emergencies promptly and coordinating necessary repairs.
Assisting with property commissioning and decommissioning.
Travel Support
Full accompaniment of the family during trips.
Managing all practical arrangements: luggage, meals, comfort, sports, and wellness.
Coordinating closely with the Travel Department and the employer’s assistants.
Communication
Reports directly to the estate manager.
Maintains daily communication with family members regarding service matters.
Organizes and coordinates on-site staff operations.
Liaises with contractors, service providers, and vendors.
Responsibilities
Ensuring an exceptional level of service and family care.
Safeguarding the personal belongings of the family.
Ensuring timely and accurate reporting to the estate manager.
Maintaining staff discipline and performance.
Upholding safety, confidentiality, and privacy standards.
Requirements
Female.
Senior Level Service experience
Team-oriented mindset.
High level of discretion.
Strong organizational skills and initiative.
Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the 3 weeks ON.
Passport and citizenship should allow visa-free (or e-visa) travel to London and work there.
Language requirements: Excellent English is mandatory, and conversational Russian is highly desirable, as most household staff speak Russian.
Conditions & Perks
Contract: The position involves a 3-weeks-on, 3-weeks-off rotation.
Schedule: Working hours: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM. One day per week is considered a day off, though this is a lighter workload rather than a full day off. Availability: 24/7 by phone.
Accommodation: Accommodation is provided for live-in rotation work. For a daily/commuting the candidate would need to live in North London to ensure punctuality.
Availability for Travel: Occasional travel to Dubai and Cyprus.
